Google Squared - Great Concept From Searchology

Hi all,
Google Squared is a concept in the anvil and is due for launch under Google Labs later this month.

When you type in a search query in Google, a useful Square is built around the query. For example, if you typed in “small cats”, the first row in the square can have the result miniature cats, a variety of Persian cats. There can be other varieties of small cats returned in other rows.

The columns for each row will be the characteristics of that particular cat, say, the weight of miniature cats, their eye colour etc.

You can now go ahead and add a particular type of small cat that you are familiar with. If you added “lynx”, it becomes a new row on its own and Google attempts to get the various characteristics for this breed from the web in real time which results in columns getting populated for that row.

Google Squared can be fun to play with and if you have time to burn, you have hit bulls eye. A great benefit for the serious SEO professional is that it can be a handy reference tool to develop content.

If you can input a row in the form of a certain product that you want to write about and you can also specify its characteristics in the form of columns,  Google does the hard work and you get all the facts in one place to craft a masterpiece.
